Call of the Wild..

I took this pic from my iPhone early this morning when I got to the job site, we are in the process of building a hunting lodge in the middle of an exotic game ranch. This particular red stag is well-known for its bad behavior. He’s been known to ram trucks and people his last owner was gored and when all was said and done he had 30 puncture wounds but lived to tell about it.

A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog.
Jack London

I hope that you took these pictures through the window of your truck, which was running. And your foot was half on the brake but ready to jump on the gas. And you maybe had some elephant tranquiler in a gun on the seat next to you.

I was on foot but there was a 9′ high fence in between us in which I had my arm stuck through in order to get the good pics.

Saturday night vibes got me like....
#lakebum#kayakfishing #kayaking#saturdaynight #lifeisbetteroutside #flyfishing #sunset#familytime#getoutside#igtexas#smores#fishbum Sunday. 72 degrees. Not a boat in site. Sunday meditation. On the Llano River. Day 2. On the Llano. Our biannual trip to Terra Firma has begun. πŸ‘πŸŽ£πŸ›ΆπŸ›ΆπŸ₯“πŸ₯©πŸ»πŸ·πŸ₯ƒ Sunday morning was spent trying to do a hard reset on my consciousness. Be the leaf....Be the leaf.....don’t fight the current....use the current. Easier said then done. Happy Sunday friends. Not ready to let go of the weekend yet. So it begins. Another project brought to you by Artisan Builders. The Seward Plantation restoration began today. Stay tuned to @artisanbuilt and my stories here. I promise this is shaping up to be an interesting, challenging and engaging project. More to come.......
